Salutations, all! Best Buy has royally screwed me. They are still unable to find any of my files on my old hard drive. Damn you all! *shakes fist angrily at Geek Squad* Customer satisfaction my ass!
Anyway, confession time. The reason this pisses me off so much is because I had pre-written chapters of some of my stories. See I would wait until I had three chapters (two for some stories) done before I uploaded a new one that way if I was ever running late with an update, you guys would have something to mull over. And that's why this is bugging the hell out of me. I told myself "Self, if they can't find your shit then don't worry. You can write the chapters over and make them better than before!"
Which is proving to be really hard because after re-reading my other previously posted stuff I have no idea where I want to go with it.
Also I have a couple of term projects coming up. One is due next month and I haven't even started on it yet. Moral of the story, kids: Procrastination is bad.
A bit of good news in that sea of steaming crap. I'm starting a new story. Until the creative juices for D.SR.C start a'flowin again I will be working on "Wooing the Undead" it's a lovely little tale about a teenaged lycanthrope trying to convince his anal-rententive (ha, anal), stuffy, vampiric co-worker into his bed. He'll face normal challenges like the vampire being uptight, violent, and tempermental along with some high school and family drama and the occasional inept vampire slayer/caterer popping in here and there. Oh and allergies. He has a problem with dust and mold. Oh and did I mention they have a token human friend who's yaoi fangirl?
Anyway, thanks to those who have been so patient and understanding. On another note, I have started on chapter 16 of Wolf and Cat. I'm not liking it so far but I'm working at it. Maybe in the near future I'll pop out some side stories for D.SR.C.
