Well, I'm heading home tomorrow for the 4th of July.
I got my safety inspection sticker, license plate, and my oil changed because I don't want to give the cops a reason to pull me over. They come out of the woodworks on the major holidays and some of them are ticket-happy.

I actually look forward to going home this time not because I recently switched my basic cable to limited or because my house is poorly insulated and it feels like i'm boiling even with three fans and the a/c blowing. Nope. I'm looking forward to going home because my mom's BBQ Ribs are super-orgasmic-mind-blowing-DELICIOUS!

I'm going to fast tomorrow evening and the morning of the fourth so that I can gorge myself on those finger-licking slabs of dead flesh. And she won't just be cooking ribs. She will be grilling burgers and chicken. There will be coleslaw and baked beans (I won't be eating those because I don't like beans) and I think cake.

*starts singing* Meat meat! I love meat! Yummy in my tummy: Meat!

The downside to this being a major holiday is that because of the increased copitude, I will have to go the legal speed limit. Which means the trip will take longer. Oh well. So worth it.

And because I'm leaving I will update two chapters so you guys will have something to read while I'm eating my weight in ribs (lol I wish. My brother will probably hog them all) so don't think I'm going to leave you hanging.
